CHILDREN AND YOUTH SERVICES

oUR GOAL IS TO:

• Raise awareness and educate parents about the importance of early childhood education.

• Search for resources to help immigrants in parenting their children as most of the families are first generation families and have questions about raising their children that normally would be answered by their parents and grandparents back home.

• Start an after school program to help children with their school homework as some of the families do not speak enough English to help their children with it.

• Assist parents in navigating the college system and help them with completing college applications, scholarship applications, SATs and ACTs, and FAFSA.

• Help children adjust to schools.

• Educate children on their culture.
